| The system will be delivered in a water tight case, The total system weight is about 30 lbs. The Diecast Aluminum Receiver Control case (see picture) has the controls and 7 inch flat LCD monitor integrated . An active signal splitter is integrated and, via a BNC plug on the front of the unit, provide a (no loss) output for an external screen. For longer distances C-View advices the use of their CV A 1212 mast antenna. C-View develloped this High Gain Omni Directional antenna, using a U-shaped isotropical set up (Shtrikman/Matzner) resulting in a gain peak of 12 dBi Both the transmitting antenna and the receiving atenna need to be of the same construction. An antenna that makes a transmitted signal 10 times stronger will also capture 10 times as much energy when used as a receiving antenna. Due to reciprocity, these two effects are equal. |
