| BlueView has revolutionized the form and function of sonar applications, creating an opportunity to transform the marine industry. Boats don't need to move to create images with a BlueView sonar. A traditional fish finder or depth sounder generates a single beam (or perhaps 2 in a dual frequency unit) directly below the boat. Multiple single beam returns are stacked up side by side and displayed to create a profile of the bottom as the boat passes over it. On the other hand, a BlueView sonar generates many narrow beams on each transmission that allow the sonar to create an image of the bottom while the boat is moving or at rest. These images provide a realistic view of submerged objects, shipwrecks, fish, sharks, divers, and the bottom; even in very shallow water. High speed, high resolution updates provide vision into a dynamic underwater environment and will transform the way boaters and fisherman operate. The low-cost aspect of BlueView’s advanced sonar technology makes it an attractive solution to many Harbor Security applications where multiple sonar are required to provide adequate underwater security coverage.
