| Impulse is pleased to announce the addition of 10,12 and 16 contact connectors to the successful Micro Mini wet pluggable range. Male and female versions of both bulkhead and in-line connectors are available in either neoprene or polyurethane and have a 10,000 PSI mated pressure rating. The bulkhead design is open face pressure rated to 5,000 PSI. With this addition, the Micro Mini connectors are now available in 9 configurations, with between 2 and 16 contacts. |

| Metal Shell Connectors Titan Ruggedised Metal Shell Connectors There are a number of underwater activities which demand the most robust products to survive their hazardous working environment. Examples include the seismic market and ROV applications - particularly seabed ROVs. The Titan connector is available in dry and wet mateable form. Impulse has supplied the product for use in systems using dual pressure jet tools to lay cables up to 1 metre depth in the sea floor. The product has survived the penetrating, highly abrasive, sediment concentrations found in the surrounding water environment. The connectors also offer maximum handling strength being of rugged construction with positive metal alignment features. |

| High Density Connectors This range of connectors has been specifically developed for instrumentation applications where many contacts are required in the smallest envelope. The Impulse products offer contact densities up to 22pins/cm2. Products of this type must be carefully designed such that in the confined space: Pin and socket combinations are as robust as possible. Accurate mating alignment is achieved. Reliable wiring connections can be made to the contact pins. Acceptable electrical properties are maintained. Impulse High Density connectors achieve all these objectives. In the Product Data below all threads are Unified. |
IE55 & IE66 Connectors The IE55 industry standard connector is a very well proven product across a number of manufacturers and the Impulse range is an excellent example of the type. Being of robust construction and incorporating well proven design features these metal shell connectors have seen service in almost every area of underwater activity. The Impulse product has been widely used with many leading organizations including TSS, SOC(IOS), MAFF and the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute. They have been used in military as well as commercial projects and have given excellent long term reliability. An inverted range is available. IE55 and IE66 high voltage 4 way connectors are also available (client specified rating - up to 3000V). In the Product Data below all threads are Unified. |
